Welcome to Little People Montessori Pre-school!

Based in Sea Point, Cape Town, since 2007, Little People Montessori Preschool is dedicated to the global Montessori philosophy and giving children the best start in life. We allow children the freedom to follow their passion, grow as independent individuals and reach their natural potential. Working with two to five year olds in a small, warm, nurturing environment, we offer a stimulating child centred learning approach, focusing on the development of the whole child.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is based on the principles of Dr Maria Montessori (1870-1952) whose holistic vision of education focuses on the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of the child. Dr Montessori was the first person to recognise the importance of the early years. She came to realise that children were capable of extraordinary independence and developmental growth when allowed to follow their own interests and to explore real-world concepts through hands-on learning at their own pace.
